Begin your day with a visit to the Mémorial de Caen, dedicated to the Second World War, D-Day and the Battle of Normandy. The museum provides valuable historical context before continuing towards the Normandy coast and the D-Day Landing Beaches.
Continue to Arromanches, overlooking Gold Beach and the remains of the famous Mulberry Harbour constructed by the allies after the landings. Visit the German Battery at Longues-sur-Mer, one of the best-preserved Atlantic Wall artillery positions, with its original concrete casemates and guns overlooking the coast.
Approximately 1 hour of free time will be allowed for lunch during the day.

Visit Omaha Beach, one of the principal American landing sectors on 6 June 1944.
Continue to the Normandy American Cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer, overlooking Omaha Beach, for time to visit the cemetery, memorial and grounds.
Discover the Pointe du Hoc, the dramatic clifftop site where US troops landed on D-Day and climbed the cliffs to reach the German positions above. Explore the remains of the bunkers, fortifications and bomb craters before beginning the return journey to Paris.
