Chantilly is a beautiful castle just over an hour drive from Paris. Home to many princely or ducal families, it is a set of several edifices of eclectic style. The gardens designed by Le Notre were the favorite of the famous landscape architect of Versailles.
It houses the Musee Conde, one of the best art galleries in the country: Botticelli, Raphael, Van Dyck, Poussin, Ingres are here!
The castle, Condee museum and the Grand Stables (unique) are open every day except Tuesdays.
