The excursion begins with a guided Paris city tour taking in all the famous sights of the capital. A 45 minute to 1 hour drive out of Paris takes you to the delightful royal town of Fontainebleau. If you’re seeking a true taste of France, the Fontainebleau chateau & gardens are an absolute must!
Here you will find quaint cobbled streets, beautiful boutiques – a bustling town rich in history & charm. Lunch in one of the reputed restaurants in town or on the banks of the River at Samois sur Seine. After lunch, visit Fontainebleau with audioguides – the chateau is one of the most beautifully and ornately furnished chateaux in France. Napoleon declared it his favourite chateau “the true residence of kings, the house of the centuries”.
