DAY 1 – JUNE 19th, 2026 (Friday): MADRID – PARIS – REIMS
Departure on Iberia flight at 09:55 h. Arrival at Paris Orly at 11:55 h. Lunch en route and transfer to Reims, a key city in Western history, known for being the place where the Kings of France were crowned in its impressive Gothic Cathedral of Notre Dame. Reims is home to a remarkable group of monuments declared UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Accommodation.
DAY 2 – JUNE 20th, 2026 (Saturday): REIMS – ÉPERNAY – DIJON
Breakfast and departure to Épernay, the capital of the Champagne region, a charming town adorned with thousands of flowers and surrounded by rolling hills covered in vineyards. Visit to a champagne cellar. Continue to Dijon. Lunch and guided visit of the city, the former capital of the Duchy of Burgundy. Highlights include the Ducal Palace, now home to the City Hall and one of France’s oldest Fine Arts Museums; the old town, a beautifully preserved medieval quarter surrounding the palace; the covered market; and the Church of Notre-Dame of Dijon, a 13th-century Gothic masterpiece listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, along with the rest of the historic center. DAY 3 – JUNE 21st, 2026 (Sunday): DIJON – BURGUNDY WINE ROUTE EXCURSION
Breakfast and full-day excursion with lunch included along the Route des Grands Crus, also known as the “Champs-Élysées” of Burgundy. The route runs from Dijon to Santenay, passing through charming towns such as Nuits-Saint-Georges and Beaune, where we’ll visit the Hôtel-Dieu, a 14th-century charity hospital and a gem of Burgundian heritage. Along the way, we’ll explore the prestigious wines of Burgundy in one of the most renowned wine regions in the world. The scenic route is lined with beautiful landscapes, quaint villages, splendid churches, and ancient castles. But undoubtedly, wine will be the highlight of the day, with its endless vineyards that shape the very soul of Burgundy. Return to Dijon and accommodation.
DAY 4 – JUNE 22nd, 2026 (Monday): DIJON – VISIT TO VÉZELAY AND FONTENAY
Breakfast and departure to Vézelay, where we will visit the magnificent Romanesque Basilica of Sainte-Marie-Madeleine, one of Christianity’s great pilgrimage sites and a jewel of Romanesque art, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
We then continue our journey to the Cistercian monastery of Fontenay, one of the best-preserved monastic complexes in Europe. Its sober yet majestic architecture, free of ornamentation, and its exceptional natural surroundings make it an unforgettable spiritual and aesthetic experience.
Lunch. Return to Dijon. Free afternoon to continue enjoying the city. Accommodation.
DAY 5 – JUNE 23rd, 2026 (Tuesday): DIJON – CLUNY ABBEY – LYON
Breakfast and departure to Cluny Abbey, considered the mother of Western civilization and for centuries one of the most influential spiritual centers in Europe. Its architecture and legacy deeply marked the history of Christianity in the West.
After the visit, we continue to Lyon. Lunch included. In the afternoon, panoramic tour of the city, a true architectural gem on the banks of the Rhône. We will discover the Old Town of Lyon, with its charming network of medieval and Renaissance streets, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Accommodation.
DAY 6. JUNE 24, 2026 (TUE): LYON – EXCURSION TO PÉROUGES AND ANNECY
Breakfast and departure to two of the best-kept treasures of the Lyon region: the charming medieval towns of Pérouges and Annecy. Our first stop will be Pérouges, a medieval gem known for its remarkably well-preserved architecture. Its houses, many dating back to the 10th century, and its cobbled streets create a truly beautiful setting.
We will then continue to Annecy, considered one of the most beautiful towns in France. Its canals, bridges, and abundance of flowers create a unique and picturesque atmosphere. Lunch and city tour. Return to Lyon. Overnight stay.
DAY 7. JUNE 25, 2026 (WED): LYON – MADRID
Breakfast. Free morning, during which we suggest visiting the city’s famous food market named after the renowned Michelin-starred chef Paul Bocuse. There, you can explore its many stalls and sample some of the region’s most iconic culinary specialties on your own.
Transfer to the airport to take the IBERIA flight at 19:10 h.
Arrival in Madrid at 21:10 h.
